I had such a great stay at this hotel in the mountains! The room was clean and comfortable, and the small balcony added a nice touch. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Plus, the restaurant served excellent food at a reasonable price. Definitely a great value for the money!
The breakfast selection could have used more vegetables.

Went for a picturesque hike in the middle of nowhere, almost flew away with the wind. Enjoyed a meal at the restaurant with breathtaking views. Had fun playing billiards and darts in the games room.
Oh, how I loved the weak WiFi signal and the non-existent vegetarian options at the restaurant. So accommodating!

Great location, surrounded by beautiful nature and stunning views. The hotel is situated in the middle of nowhere, which is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The room was spacious and had a balcony, allowing us to enjoy the fresh air and scenery. The food at the restaurant was absolutely amazing, especially the salmon and cod dishes. We also loved the breakfast, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. the hotel provided a unique and memorable experience during our Christmas holiday.
There were a few negative aspects to our stay. The internet was quite terrible, which was a bit frustrating.

Great hiking and winter sports, the bar served drinks , the panoramic restaurant had regional cuisine , and there's a games room. Torre and Piodão are only 30 km away.
So glad the restaurant had regional cuisine, because I certainly didn't enjoy the lack of vegetables for breakfast. How dare they not cater to my every fancy!

The highlight of my stay was the superb breakfast, with a wide variety of delicious food, including local specialties like homemade jams and cheese. This was our second stay at Pedras Lavradas and once again, it exceeded our expectations. the hotel's great location between Serra da Estrela and Serra do Açor provided breathtaking views of the mountains, valleys, and distant villages. the hotel's restaurant served outstanding food, including local specialties like the famous cheese 'queijo da Estrela' and the delicious 'chouriço' sausages. the rooms, although basic and small, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the large and comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep after a day of exploring the mountains. the breakfast was amazing, with an extensive selection of delicious food, although it lacked vegetables, which is typical for breakfast in Portugal. The hotel also had a good mobile network signal and plenty of free parking space. Cons: Nothing not to like. 😊.
